Barbara Haardt has been in the mortgage lending business for over 36 years and has closed over $2 Billion in loan transactions. Born in central Pennsylvania, she came to work in Washington D.C. for the FBI.

After starting a family, she entered the world of real estate as a mortgage loan officer. She is a proud mother of two daughters who have loving husbands and five beautiful children between them. Her spare time is spent with her dogs Stella and Benny. Barbara is an avid fan of Formula One Racing and Championship driver, Lewis Hamilton. Her love of Formula One Racing allows her the opportunity to travel the world to see races in person and discover new cultures. In addition, she has a love for opera and symphony.

Her commitment to be of service has brought her to volunteer at: The Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and Food and Friends. As a 18 year survivor of breast cancer, she gives back by helping assist and escort patients in treatment and provide them the high quality of support she was afforded during her treatment.

Prior to coming to First Savings, Barbara worked for several national lenders for 16 years. Annually, she obtained the companies’ highest honors for loans closed and customer satisfaction. Barbara is proud to be able to provide dependable service. She consistently receives referrals and repeat business from former clients, as well as from a loyal following of Realtors. Barbara strives to make clients for life.
