Rich Savage has spent the past 12 years building his reputation in the real estate mortgage business, working with some of the top loan officers, real estate agents and financial advisors in Atlanta, Hampton Roads and Northern Virginia before his recent move to Richmond, VA. Rich obtained CMPS® Designation in January 2015 of which less than 1% of Loan Officers in the Country have obtained this Mortgage Planning Designation Going above and beyond to make sure clients’ best interests always come first is just one of the ways Rich has been able to build long-lasting relationships with his clients and the referrals they continue to send his way. His loyalty, professionalism and undivided attention to client's requests and concerns grant him frequent referrals and repeat clients. Rich also understands the importance of meeting a closing deadline and to make the financing for the home as stress free as possible for his clients. Rich enjoys a strong reputation of proven excellence when it comes to satisfying people's residential financing requirements. In his spare time, Rich is an accomplished tennis player and an avid golfer and enjoys charity golf outings, attending sporting events, traveling and hanging out with his dog Cooper.

BACKGROUND

Rich grew up in Virginia Beach, VA and attended Norfolk Academy High School. He then attended Auburn University where he graduated with honors. Rich has over 20 years of customer service experience and expertise in both commercial real estate and residential financing. He started his professional career for Norfolk Southern in Atlanta, Georgia. Rich then moved to a career working alongside with some top developers in Atlanta, GA in commercial real estate and development before starting a career in mortgage lending in November of 2008. While in the mortgage residential industry, Rich has worked with some of the top professionals in the business and that certainly continues today as the Loan Officer Assistant to Steve Fox.
